For the Portrait Milano project, the studio acted as technical partner and consultant for Astec Bronzo Architettonico in the development of a custom system of large sliding metal and glass windows for the cloister on the first floor.
The intervention involved glazing all four sides of the cloister, creating a covered space directly connected to the hotel rooms. Steel sliding panels with a bronze finish were designed, over 6 metres high and weighing approximately 1500 kg, with minimal profiles and strong structural performance.
The scope included site surveys, shop drawings and technical support throughout construction.
